This robust software comes equipped with a range of features that enhance the remote desktop experience. It uses the NEAR protocol, which ensures low-latency and adaptive H.264-based remote desktop connections. Additionally, it supports File Transfer, allowing users to effortlessly transfer documents between remote machines.

Remotix also seamlessly integrates with popular protocols like Apple Screen Sharing, VNC, and RDP, including RD Gateway. This flexibility enables users to connect from anywhere and easily manage multiple machines.

The application simplifies usability with features like automatic clipboard synchronization and secure SSH connections using both password and public key authentication. Additionally, Remotix utilizes network scanners to discover nearby machines and supports Wake-On-LAN functionality.

Security is a top priority with Remotix. Users can enable a master password for added protection, as well as utilize Face ID and Touch ID authentication on supported devices.

The control interface of Remotix offers a full set of multi-touch gestures for seamless navigation. Users can effortlessly pan, zoom, drag, right-click, and scroll using their touchscreen or touchpad. Additionally, it provides hardware and Bluetooth keyboard support with functionality including F keys, cursor control, and modifiers. Bluetooth mouse support is also included.

Remotix ensures a smooth international character input experience and even offers an extended keyboard for accessing copy/paste, function, and navigation keys. For devices supporting 3D Touch, right-click functionality is enabled.

If you're using Remotix to connect to a Mac or PC with NEAR, you'll benefit from a hardware-accelerated H.264-based remote desktop experience. The software offers three quality modes, including "smooth," which is ideal for video and gaming purposes. It automatically adapts to changing network conditions and provides clipboard synchronization as well as remote sound transfer. Users can log in using system credentials or a personal access code and take advantage of curtain mode and remote screen locking on Mac devices.

When connecting to a Mac with Screen Sharing, Remotix offers five quality modes, including an adaptive mode for average and slow internet connections. Users can also configure multi-display settings, choose between combined or individual displays, and utilize various authentication methods, including VNC password and Mac OS X authentication. The software significantly enhances interaction speed with server-side picture scaling and supports multi-language keyboard input using the "Keyboard through Clipboard" mode. Remote screen locking and access to hidden dock or menu are additional features when connecting to a Mac.

If your goal is to connect to Windows using RDP, Remotix supports RD Gateway and load-balancing configurations. It allows for on-the-fly resolution and scale changes, as well as sound playback and recording capabilities. The software also features real-time network speed adaptation for optimal performance over 3G or LAN connections. Secure NLA authentication and RDP over SSH are supported as well.

When connecting to Windows or Linux using VNC, Remotix has been tested extensively with various servers including UltraVNC, TightVNC, RealVNC, VMWare, TigerVNC, x11vnc, and more. It supports UltraVNC Windows Logon authentication, TLS encryption, VeNCrypt authentication (ProxMox), as well as x11vnc's -ncache mode.
